ONGOLFF is an acronym that stands for Owners & Neighbors Guarding Our Local Forests & Farms and was started in 2025 in Nacogdoches, TX. We started to deal with a local project in Rusk County called the Wild Spring Dunes Golf Course. ONGOLFF is a non-profit corporation chartered in Texas. Our goal is to protect and preserve local area lands and residents from outside land development projects that the local residents do not support by the majority of those residents that choose to voice their opinion. The opinion of area residents is determined by petition whereby verified local residents make their voice heard by casting a vote by email stating they SUPPORT or OPPOSE the project and they give their name and address so the vote can be seen as original, belonging to the area, and genuine. ONGOLFF wants to give voice to the majority that is too often silent to projects affecting them which are sometimes negative and sometimes positive.
ONGOLF is a local watchdog group to see that Special Interests do not impose their unsolicited and unwanted will on the general public.
